4 Typical application
■
Field installation, commissioning and maintenance of radio device
4992A Radio Test Set is highly integrated with various test instruments. On the premise that
various functions are realized, the maximum size is 295mm (width)×195mm (height)×70mm
(depth), and the weight is less than 2.5kg. This instrument is equipped with the high-capacity
rechargeable battery, which can work in a long time after charging. Therefore, this instrument is
suitable for field installation, testing and maintenance of radio transmitters/receivers. As the
multimeter in the RF measurement field, this instrument will become an essential tool for radio
engineers.
■ Performance test of batch production of radios and intercoms

the standing wave ratio of the feeder cable and antenna is necessary, as the fault can be isolated on
the feeder, connector or antenna. With the built-in standing wave ratio test module, 4992A Radio
Test Set can be applied to test the standing wave performance of cable ports. Moreover, the fault
point can be positioned in the test according to the actual transmission rate of the tested cable. In
