Focusing on People’s Eyes

You can shoot with the subject’s eyes in focus.

Select [

1: Eye Detection AF].

Select [Enable].

Aim the camera at the subject.

An AF point is displayed around their
eye.
z
You can also touch the screen to
select an eye.

Take the picture.
o
Subject eyes may not be detected correctly, depending on the subject
and shooting conditions.
o
No frame is displayed around eyes unless the camera detects the
subject’s face or eyes.
o
Only available when
[

1: AF operation]
is set to
[One-Shot AF]
and
[
2
1: AF method]
is set to
[Face+Tracking]
.
o
You can disable Eye Detection AF by pressing the <
S
> button, then
the <
B
> and <
B
> button. To resume Eye Detection AF, press the
<
B
> button again.
