Current Calibration - Gain
The procedure to calibrate current gain is:
1.
Select the Calibration entry from the “System” menu
2.
Press the “Calibrate” soft key to enter calibration mode
3.
Connect the required resistive load value to the output of phase A or all three outputs if
three loads are available.
4.
Program AC voltage to 120.0 Vrms L-N on all phases
5.
Set the Frequency to the most commonly used value depending on typical applications
6.
Enable the Output
7.
Allow the load current to stabilize by monitoring the DMM current reading for each
phase.
8.
Enter the DMM VAC readings for all three phase in the respective Current data entry
text boxes in the Calibration screen. If only one shunt and load is available, repeat the
above steps for phase B and C making sure to turn OFF the output before moving the
load and shunt to the next phase.
9.
Press "Cal I. gain" soft key
10.
Wait for the I gain coefficients for all phases to be calculated and displayed
Note: Current gain can be calibrated in DC mode as well if this is the predominant mode of
use. Use the MODE fields at the top to select the desired mode.

Exit Calibration Mode
To exit the calibration mode once done, press the “Back” software.
