After the telephone is successfully connected, RPS will disconnect from the AMAX panel after
5 minutes of idling.
 

IP Connection

IP Remote Connection
The IP remote connection function allows to establish a connection from the remote PC to the
AMAX panel through LAN or WAN. The remote monitoring center should be installed remote
programming software like A-Link Plus and perform related IP address, programming in order
to apply this function in LAN (support DHCP) and WAN.
1.

Set receiver 1 subscriber number and network remote settings programming, i.e. enter
the DHCP update time on the AMAX panel.

2.

Run RPS on the remote PC and set relevant parameters in relevant operating interfaces.

3.

Select File - Communication Settings.
The Communication Setting dialog box opens.

4.

Select the local IP address. If there are multiple IP addressed in the pull-down list, ensure
to select the latest local IP address and enter the local port. For more information refer to
Communication Operations Programming, page 115.

5.

Click on the Save button.
