When you pull down the Other menu and select Card Addresses, the dialog box
shown in Figure 6-34 appears.
Figure 6-34. The Card Addresses dialog box.
We don’t recommend that you install extra cards or other hardware in the
ServLINK. But if you do, and the new hardware
must
use the address or the IRQ
assigned to the ServLINK’s PCI Card, or the address assigned to the ServLINK’s
Access Control Card, you can choose different settings for these Cards here. (This
is intended a last-resort fix for compatibility problems; if at all possible, leave the
PCI Card and Access Control Card in their default settings and change the new
hardware’s settings instead.)
• The default address for the PCI Card is 300 hex. Other available settings are
280, 2a0, 2c0, 340, and 360 hex.
• The default IRQ for the PCI Card is 3. Other available settings are 2, 4, 5, 7, 9,
10, and 11.
• The default address for the Access Control Card is 250 hex. Other available
settings are 260, 280, 300, 340, and 360 hex. (The Access Control Card’s IRQ is
not
user-selectable.)
