Modulus area to autodetect
the Modulus only
If the Host PC’s screen shows a large amount of snow or appears grainy,
then the
Phase
adjustment needs to be changed. Click the Increment or Decrement buttons to
determine the setting that results in the best screen. No more than 16 clicks on
theses button should be necessary to determine the best position. After the
Modulus and Phase have been adjusted, you might need to readjust the Master
Brightness and Contrast slider bars under the Video Settings tab (see
Section 5.2.4
) to correct any color flickering appearing on portions of the screen,
such as in multi-colored icons. (In some cases it may not be possible to eliminate
flickering entirely, especially in small icons that use slight variations of color.) Click
the Auto Detect button in the Phase area to autodetect
the Phase only
Editing Mode
and
Blocks/Sec
aren’t user-settable; they’re fields that provide
information about the Host PC’s video:
• Editing Mode is the resolution and refresh rate of this video.
• Blocks/Sec is the number of 64-pixel chunks of the video image that the
ServLINK is forwarding to your user station each second.
