When you highlight an entry in the
Macro Name
column in the main Keyboard
Macros box and click the View button, the dialog box shown in Figure 6-31
appears:
Figure 6-31. The View (List Keyboard Press/Release) dialog box.
• The
Macro Key Description
column contains the sequence of keypresses and
key releases that make up the macro; this is the same information that appears
for macros in the Macro Created column of the Add Keyboard Macro dialog
box (see
Section 6.4.2
).
• The
Scan Set Codes
columns show exactly which keyboard scan codes
correspond to the keypresses and key releases for the three IBM scan sets (scan
modes); these are the actual codes transmitted to the host PC or the KVM
switch. Depending on which scan set the ServLINK autodetects for the Host
PC, the ServLINK will send the macro in scan set 1 (early PS/2 models), scan
set 2 (most PCs), or scan set 3 (RS/6000
®
and certain other UNIX
®
based
servers).
Click the close box in the upper right-hand corner to exit back to the main
Keyboard Macros dialog box.
