Whe ny our PABX is equip ped with an op tio nal DSP mo du le.Af ter your PABX sys tem has run up it will re cog ni ze the
mo du le and you can then be gin con fi gu ra ti on at the IP pho ne.
Note
This short des crip ti on is ba sed on the DHCP set up in the PABX.
The el meg IP290 is used as an ex am ple in this des crip ti on.

In iti al start up
Con nect the pabx to the IP te le pho ne using the net work ca ble. Con nect the plug-in po wer supp ly unit and the te le -
pho ne and switch the po wer on.
Language setting
Select Language:

Select Language:

Selecting a calling tone

A user must ha ve been set up in the pabx.En ter your user ID (for ex am ple for MSN22 ) which con sists of the MSN ex -
ten si on, fol lo wed by an “@” and the IP_ ad dress for the PABX.

En ter an ID for the MSN22 and the IP ad dress 192.168.1.250:
