If re mo te pol ling has not been en ab led via PC con fi gu ra ti on »Ge ne ral«, the functi on must be en ab led
using »En ab le / In hi bit re mo te ac cess« via an in ter nal te le pho ne. You can then ac ti va te and use Voi ce -
bo xes from re mo te lo ca tions.

Con fi gu ring the Voi ce box using a sys tem pho ne
If you have an el meg CS410 or el meg CS400xt sys tem te le pho ne con nec ted to your PABX sys tem you can con fi gu re
and use a Voi ce box in the se sys tems using a spe ci al menu avai la ble in the sys tem te le pho nes.
This spe ci al menu for using the Voi ce box is pro vi ded in the el meg CS410 sys tem te le pho ne. The num ber / team num -
ber for the Voi ce box must be sto red in the te le pho ne to use this functi on. When the pho ne is idle the soft key »Voi ce -
box« is dis play ed. When this soft key and the call LED flash, this in di ca tes that new mes sa ges have ar ri ved at the as sig -
ned Voi ce box. You can open the PABX sys tem Voi ce box menu by pres sing this soft key. In this menu you can lis ten to
mes sa ges or make furt her in put / set the con fi gu ra ti on for the Voi ce box.
This menu, along with the functions it con tains for using and con fi gu ring the Voi ce box, is ma na ged in the PABX sys -
tem.
