CHARGE OUTPUT CONTROL

RRemove:

• the alternator lid

See "FRAME 4.120" paragraph.

ELECTRIC PLANT

Measure:

• the DC voltage

between the positive and negative terminals of the

battery using a multitester.

If the tester indicates less than 13.0V or more than

15.0V, the cause to be identified is in the generator.

Start:

• the engine

and make it rev at 2000 r/min with the lights switch

at ON and the selector on HI headlights position.

ELEC

NOTE:

When carrying out this test, ensure that the battery

is fully charged.

Output for charge

13.0 V - 14.5 V a 2000 g/min
