ELEC

SIDE TRESTLE SENSOR

If the side trestle is lowered, the engine will not start

until the gear change is placed in neutral or the stand

in closed position.

Placed at the top of the side trestle shank

Disconnect:

• the connector of the side trestle switch

Measure:

• the continuity

using a multitester.

If the above conditions are satisfied, the stand switch

functions, otherwise replace the component.
