Imprinter Errors
Error Condition
Message Displayed
Explanation/Remedy
Front Printer’s Ink Low
Error
“Front Printer – ink low”
The number of dots printed
since front ink cartridge
was installed has exceeded
the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
Replace the print cartridge,
(Section 6.15.3)
Back Printer’s Ink Low
Error
“Back Printer – ink low”
The number of dots printed
since back ink cartridge was
installed has exceeded the
manufacturer’s
recommendations.
Replace the print cartridge,
(Section 6.15.3)
Front Print Head Error
“Bad front print head”
The host attempted to use
the front imprinter, but no
front print head is detected.
Either the imprinter
cartridge is not installed or
not installed correctly.
Remove and reinstall
imprinter cartridge.
Back Print Head Error
“Bad back print head”
The host attempted to use
the back imprinter, but no
back print head is detected.
Either the imprinter
cartridge is not installed or
not installed correctly.
Remove and reinstall
imprinter cartridge.
