2.1 Starting the AU2700
Perform the following start-up and daily maintenance procedures before beginning analysis.
Tips
The AU2700 is supplied with main power and sub-power buttons. The main power is turned on and
off with the main breaker. In an emergency, perform the emergency stop procedure.
For detailed
procedures, refer to the Troubleshooting Chapter.
Press the Reset button to turn the main power back on.
The sub-power is turned on with the On button. The sub-power is turned off by pressing the End key on
the keyboard. To start the AU2700, both the main and sub-power must be turned on.
The main power
should be on at all times except in an emergency! The main power supplies power for refrigerator, the
incubator, and the automatic priming of the ISE.
Starting the AU2700
If the AU2700 system is off, perform the following procedures. If the AU2700 is on and a new
index needs to be created, select [Routine], [Start Conditions], then skip to step 4.
1. Open the main deionized water supply valve.
2. Press the On button:
Initialization occurs, the lamp comes on, and the software is loaded.
3. After pressing the On button, the [Start Up] screen will appear after 1 minute.

4. Change the data index by selecting function key F4 (set). Use the pull-down menu to
select “1. Current Time” to create a new index.
