Data Base Index
Description:
Use this screen if errors occur in the database. Sample data stored on the hard disk is formatted
in a database which has index dates and times for use as search keys. Should an error occur in
the database, the sample data may not be searched normally. If this happens, errors generated in
the database can be repaired by rebuilding it.
Database: Select 1 of the 4 kinds of databases available by clicking on the check box.
Index: Use the pull-down menu to select the index date and time of a database.
Use this software screen to:
Rebuild a database:
The databases are categorized into the following four types: 1. Routine, emergency, repeat,
STAT 2. Reaction. 3. QC. 4. Calibration.
1. Select [Maintenance], [Data Operation], [Retrieve Data Base].
2. Use your mouse to select the type of database to be rebuilt and then select an index using
the pull-down menu.
3. Press function key F5 (execute).
A window to start rebuilding displays.
4. Select “Yes” at the prompt.
The rebuilding of the database begins.
