Carry-Over 1 tab
This tab affects the cleaning of the sample probes. Use this tab to set the cleaning cycle
performed when a sample type is changed between serum/urine/other racks. Select a
"combination" from the dialog box after selecting F4 Set and F5 Edit. Then enter the number
of cleaning cycles in the wash count field and select up to two predefined detergents (2% wash
solution). In the water field, select the number of rinses from 0 to 6.
Pre-Measure and Post Measure:
Set at 3 and cannot be changed. Cleans the sample probes in 2% wash solution from the sample
probe detergent bottles at Measure Start and before Standby.
Carry-Over 2 tab
This tab affects the cleaning of the sample probes. Use this tab to set the cleaning cycle
performed before and/or after a certain test is performed. Select a "combination" from the dialog
box after selecting F4 Set and F5 Edit. Then enter the number of cleaning cycles in the wash
count field and select up to two predefined detergents (2% wash solution). In the water field
select the number of rinses from 0 to 6. In the "Execution Mode" field select when the cleaning
cycle is performed: before, after, or both before and after dispensing.
Periodic Cleaning (Sample Probe) tab
Note
For high volume laboratories that have samples that are highly viscous, program the automatic sample
probe washes to execute 3 wash counts utilizing 1N HCL in detergent position 1, after every 100
samples.
Use this tab to program automatic sample probe cleaning after a user-defined interval of samples.
Cleaning is performed with sample probe detergent (2% Wash Solution) in bottle 1, bottle 2,
and/or DI water (wash well). Set Cleaning from 0 to 6 times in each bottle1, bottle 2, and water.
A notification alarm "3296 Sample Probe Periodic Washing" lists the wash sequence (1, 2, or 3),
and sample number.
