Calibration interface elements
The main Panes used in Calibration are the Viewport pane, showing the projector's
image, and the Options pane.
8.3.3
General calibration
Some of the general calibration and masking options available in the Options pane are:
•
Test Pattern:
Display the specified test pattern for a display, instead of
the usual output.
•
Blank Other Outputs:
Cause all displays that are not being calibrated
(that is, all displays for which a calibration window is not open) to output
black.
•
White Flash:
Show an all white image temporarily, to help with calibra-
tion.
•
PNG Mask:
Use a PNG image for masking the output. The main use
scenario is to use an alpha only image, but colors can also be used.
•
Object Mask:
Causes selected objects always to be black for a display.
•
Remap Image:
Use an image with RG channels used as UV to remap
the output of the display. This allows per-pixel distortion, using a 32-
bit PNG image. Such images can either come from Adobe® After Ef-
fects®—using a specialized plug-in—or from 3D software.
•
Color Correction:
Applies color correction for a display. See
