Timeline playback control mode
This feature allows you the control and playback of timelines from a DMX board, and
it is available for both 2D and 3D projects. This feature is disabled by default and must
be activated by clicking on the
Enable External Control
check box in the Properties
pane of a Timeline. See
Figure 8.13, “Enable External Control check box”

Once external control is enabled, you must specify the DMX universe and channel to
which the Timeline listens to in order to be controlled.
Table 8.2, “Timeline control protocol”
describes the simple protocol to control the Timeline.
