Multiple-users calibration
More than one X-Agora Designer can remotely connect to a server and participate in a
multiple-users calibration. Each designer can calibrate individual projectors when on
site. The behavior for the calibration remains as described in this section (
).
It is not recommended that two users calibrate the same projector at the same time. Each
user should calibrate different projectors. A single user, however, could use two X-Agora
Designers to calibrate a single projector (for example, using a laptop to move around
in the environment and using a desktop station), because there is no risk of simultaneous
actions on both Designers.
It is important to note that Undo and Redo commands are
global
and affect the last action,
even if it was done by a different Designer. It is highly recommended that you avoid
the Undo and Redo commands in a multiple-users calibration. Using Reverse Mapping
may cause some erratic behaviors when calibrating in a multiple-user calibration. It is
highly recommended to not add targets on both Designers at the same time.
Note
The
option blanks only projectors that are not calibrated.
If a calibration window for a projector is opened in any X-Agora Designer,
it is never blanked, to avoid interfering with the current user's calibration.
It is also important to note that the
option blanks only projectors
that are not calibrated. If a calibration window for a projector is opened in any X-Agora
Designer, it is never blanked, to avoid interfering with the current user's calibration.
