J.2 X-Agora trouble shooting
This section offers help with project recovery, viewing logs, restarting X-Agora service,
generated reports, and synchronizing Players.
J.2.1 Project recovery
Concepts related to project recovery include: taking snapshots, autosaving, and importing
and exporting projects.
When a project fails to load, the user is notified in the Hub Window and is asked to
make a choice between the different snapshots of the project found on the machine.
Once a snapshot is selected, it becomes the working version of the project.
Snapshots
X-Agora periodically generates snapshots, if changes are detected in a project. Snapshots
are periodic backups of the main project files. They do not include any media files. A
snapshot can be recovered only within its own project.
Creating custom snapshots
In addition to automatic snapshots, you can create custom snapshots by giving them
custom names. To create a custom snapshot, follow these steps:
1. Open a project from X-Agora Designer.
2.
Go to File
→
Create Snapshot or use the Ctrl + T keyboard shortcut.
