Note:
Enter the value for the density (g/cm

) of the
liquid (water, alcohol etc.) in which the sample is
immersed.
(2)
Attach the optional weighing hook to the bottom of the
balance, attach the hanging pan, and then immerse the
hanging pan in the tank filled with the liquid of known
density.
(3) Press

Load the sample on the balance pan or in the hanging
pan in air.

After the stability symbol illuminates, press the

Load the sample on the hanging pan immersed in the
liquid. The density of the sample is displayed.

Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each additional sample.
Note:

Up to four decimal places are displayed for specific
gravity. Since it may not be possible to stabilize the
balance using all 4 places, 1d/10d switching is possible.

When loading the sample on the pan in the liquid,
ensure that the entire sample is immersed in the liquid.

The balance does not re-zero when the
key is
pressed in this unit display.

When the optional Specific Gravity kit is used, refer to
the Instructional Manual of the Specific Gravity kit for
the procedure.

Return the balance to kg display mode first before
performing the next menu operation.
