Payments
Payment types are a way to enable and categorise different payment methods. The operator
selects the payment type at the point of sale, refer to the Operator Instructions for more
details.
Create a new Payment

Enter the details for each of the following fields: Whichever field you edit, pressing
automatically opens the next field for editing.

When all of the fields are complete, press Save. If the ID number is already used or set to

Tax Rate ID
You can have up to 9 tax rates.
When you save a new tax rate, if the Tax Rate ID number is already used or set to 0,
the next available valid number is assigned.

Description
The title of the tax rate.

Tax Rate
The tax rate in percent.
Payment Type ID
You can have up to 15 payment types.
Allow Change
Select whether the change can be given.
Allow Refund
If the product is subsequently returned, select whether a refund can be given.
Currency ID
For foreign currency transactions, select the currency.
Description
The title of the payment type.
Forced Amount Entry
If Forced Amount Entry is enabled, you must enter the payment value.
If Forced Amount Entry is not enabled and the payment key is pressed without a value
entered, then the machine assumes that an exact payment has been made.
Minimum Amount
If no surcharge ID is configured payment entries below this amount are not allowed. If a
surcharge is configured it will be applied if the payment is below this amount. If the
Minimum Amount is set to £0.00 then the surcharge will be applied irrespective of the
payment amount.
Maximum Amount
Payment entries above this amount are not allowed.
Open Drawer
Sets whether the cash drawer opens automatically.
Operator Role
A payment can be associated with all roles (everyone is allowed access) or a single specific
role. If the payment is available to more than one role, but not all roles, then you must
create a separate payment for each required role.
Preset Amount
The value of the payment type. For example, £20 Gift Token
