2.3 Connecting Device
The back panel of the DVR unit, you can connect up to 16 video cameras, 8 sensor
devices, 8 alarm device and output video to a TV or CRT/LCD monitor. Connecting
the unit to a DVD-RW/ external hard disk through USB connection, the bundled
software enables you to transfer and back up the recorded video. Also, the bundled
software can playback and segment the backup recorded video.
Follow the illustration below to make the connection:
2.3.1 Connecting the Sensor/Relay device
The I/O card enables you to connect (4) sensor inputs and (4) relay outputs. Just
connect the external sensor and relay pin directly to the I/O card pinhole. Check the
table below and locate which pinhole is assigned to sensor input and relay output.
