Chapter 2 Hardware Installation
2.1 Installing DOM(Disk on Module)
AVerMedia SA6000 integrate the DVR software on a DOM(Disk on Module). User only
needs to install on the SA6000, and then the DVR software is ready for operating.
Follow the below steps to install the DOM on SA6000.
1. Remove the SA6000 case cover
2. Plug the DOM on DOM cable
3. Plug one side of DOM cable to IDE slot and another end of DOM cable to
DVD-RW if there is a available DVD-RW
4. Plug the DOM power cable to DOM and another end of cable to motherboard
power connector
5. Close the SA6000 case cover
6. Now, user can power on the SA6000
Connect to the power
on the Motherboard
Press the MOD into the DOM cable slot
Plug the power cable into
the power slot on the DOM
Conect to IDE slot on the Motherboard
Connect to DVD-RW/CD-RW
