7.6 Module Battery

The Unified Communications Module includes a Lithium coin cell battery. If the module is no longer required, care must be
taken to ensure that the battery is removed and disposed of correctly. The battery can be removed from its holder by
bending the tab out the way and then pulling the battery upwards.

 WARNING: Card Remains Hot After System Shutdown 

When removing an Unified Communications Module from a system, care should be taken not to touch the heat sink
on the module. The heat sink remains hot for a long period after system shutdown.

 WARNING:  

There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the
local instructions for recycling and disposal of batteries.
