3.2 Installation
This section provides the information and instructions needed to mount a system in a rack.
Observe the following general safety notes when installing your system:

Installation codes: This unit must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical
Code.

Conductor ampacity - According to UL 60950, Annex NAE (NEC Article 645-5(a)), the
branch-circuit conductors supply must have an ampacity of not less than 125% of the
total connected load. Per NEC Article 310-15 and Table 310-16, the minimum
American Wire Gauge (AWG) has to be selected.

Over-current protection: A readily accessible listed branch circuit over-current
protective device must be incorporated into the building wiring. For appropriate AWG
rating of the over-current protection device see NEC Table 310.16 and other national
regulations.
AC PSU input is fused at 16A. External wiring and circuit interruption should be sized
accordingly.
