Online Tree Elements
The main elements of the Online Tree are described below:
System
The highest-level element in the Online Tree is the
System
element. This element indicates the number of devices in the
system, followed by the Master Controller’s IP address (FIG. 213).
Master Controller
The elements following the
System
in the online tree represent the Master Controller (FIG. 214).
NetLinx masters include an NI Master Controller device (port
0
), and a Device Controller device (port
5001
).
Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switchers contain three devices: the NI Master (port
0
), Device
Controller (port
5001
) and A/V Switcher/Scaler (port
5002
).
These are the specific device components within the Master; each of which requires it’s own firmware. For example,
NetLinx Controllers use two firmware files: "
Master Firmware
" is used by the NI Controller and "
Device Firmware
" is
used by the Device Controller. Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switchers also utilize "S
witcher Firmware
" for the
A/V Switcher component.
Click on each of the Master’s device component folders to view the Ports contained in each (FIG. 215).
