3.10.3 Retrieving Parked Calls
To retrieve a parked call:
• Press the Parked Calls programmable button (if available) or soft key. Use the up/down
navigation buttons to highlight the parked call, and then press the Retrieve soft key or the
Select button. Allworx System Software 8.5 provides these additional soft key options:
• Press the Calls for programmable button while the Verge IP phone is idle. Use the up/down
navigation buttons to highlight the parked call, and then press the Retrieve soft key or the
Select button. Only available on Allworx System Software 8.5 or higher.
• Dial 301 (Retrieve Park from Extension prefix) + intended recipient’s extension number .
Retrieves the parked call for the dialed extension. The Allworx System retrieves the call parked
for the longest amount of time. Only available on Allworx System Software 8.5 or higher.
• Press the Park Monitor programmable button. If monitoring:
• Single parking orbit : press the programmable button to retrieve the call.
• Multiple parking orbits : a list of System Park calls displays. Use the up/down navigation
button to highlight the call, and then press the Retrieve soft key or the Select button.
• Press the flashing Line Appearance programmable button, if the call was parked from this
appearance.
• Dial the parking orbit number. If Cell Phone Dialing is enabled, press the send ( ) soft key.
Soft Keys Available
Parked Calls
display the Parked Calls screen.
Calls open the Call History screen. See “Call History” on page 37 for more information.
Redial call the last-dialed outbound number placed from the phone, the Interact application, or the
Reach Remote Control application. Unless the Allworx Server Administrator enables the Line
Appearance(s) Use Dial Plan setting, the system only redials Call Appearance-dialed calls.
NOTE : The Verge 9304 IP phone does not support the Reach Remote Control feature.
Settings* configure the Verge IP phone. See “Settings” on page 81 for more information.
Sleep* place the Verge IP phone into sleep mode. See “Sleep Mode” on page 13 for more information.

Back returns to the previous Verge IP phone screen.
By Me/All Calls toggles between showing all Parked Calls or narrows the sorted list to only calls parked
from this Verge IP phone.
Retrieve claims the highlighted parked call.
