WireScope 350 System Settings 125
The cable specifications database
The cable database tool allows you to review, edit or add to the cable
specifications information that is stored on the WireScope 350.
Accurate cable NVP (Nominal Velocity of Propagation) specifications must be
selected in order for the WireScope 350 to produce accurate length
measurements.
To view the specifications for any cable in the WireScope 350 database, from
the database menu screen, press the
Cable Specs
button. Select the cable
manufacturer from the list and press
or the
Next
button. You may need to
scroll the list using the
key to find your choice. If you wish to review the
specifications for a generic cable, select “Unspecified” from the list.
Select the cable description from the list available for the selected manufacturer.
Press
or the
Next
button to view a summary specification report for the
selected cable.
