Monitoring the Line - Section 1
Activating automatic start
Ø Highlight AUTO START and use the LEFT or
RIGHT arrow keys to select ON.
Ø Highlight START TIME .
The cursor appears at the start of the value.
Ø Use the keypad to enter a start time, in 24 hour,
HH:MM:SS (hours, minutes and seconds) format.
If you make a mistake, press the LEFT arrow key to
return to the start of the value.
Ø Press the F6 EXIT to save the settings and exit the
screen.
Deactivating automatic start
Ø Highlight AUTO START and use the LEFT or
RIGHT arrow keys to select OFF.
Choosing the Format to Review Protocol Decode
Before you begin a monitor session, you need to decide
the format in which you intend to review the
information. You can:
• display a simple real-time decode on screen when
capturing to aurora

's memory
• store the session in aurora
Duet
's memory
• send the information to the serial port in real-time
to be analysed using aurora

for Windows.

Filtering the Information to be Saved to Memory
You can set up and apply a filter to the information that
is to be saved to memory. A filter lets you isolate and
capture only the data you are interested in. Using filters
also helps to conserve space in aurora
