In the Net 1 STATUS menu, when “PROXY SIP” is selected in MODE field, the following options
are shown (NOTE: The fields that appear in italics cannot be modified, and they are shown as
additional information with no editing option available here):

URI: SIP identifier of the equipment in question. This identifier is “<unit_name>” or
“<unit_name>@<SIP_server_name/IP>[:<Port>]” type. For instance:

“phxSTRATOS”
o
“[email protected]:5062”
o
“[email protected]” (where 88.25.3.14 is the SIP server IP, not the one
of the unit you’re calling to)
When the SIP port of SIP server is not the 5060 (SIP Standard port) the identifier must
include the used port. For instance: URI: “[email protected]:5061”.
This field can be modified by pressing ADVANCED in this screen and accessing to
USER submenu.

ADVANCED menu for PROXY SIP.
The ADVANCED option associated with the fourth contextual button in the lower part of the
screen allows you to access the advanced configuration of the IP options of the Phoenix
STRATOS unit, where you can configure the following parameters for PROXY SIP working
mode:

PROVIDER: enables you to select the external SIP server with which the unit will work
from a previously stored list. See section “3.1.9. SIP PROVIDERS menu” in this
manual. By pressing EDIT button you can access to the PROVIDERS edition screen
described in that section; you can also access to this screen through SYSTEM / 9 – SIP
PROVIDERS. By default, AEQ server will be selected.
PROVIDER menu options

USER: enables you to edit the name of the unit and how it will be reflected in the
diverse internal menus of the unit. For a start we recommend you not to change the
configured default User Name, “phxstratos_124” for instance.

AUTHENTICATION: enables you to edit the password and security information for the
user profile associated with the Phoenix STRATOS unit in the previously selected SIP
server.
