In Europe and other geographic areas there is a protocol called EURO ISDN. There are
minor differences among the EURO ISDN standards applied in different countries.
These differences do not affect the Phoenix STRATOS.

MSN L1 and MSN L2: acronym for MULTIPLE SUBSCRIBER NUMBER, enables you
to independently identify each of the B channels in the same ISDN network.

Like the SPID information, this MSN information must be furnished by the service
provider where the ISDN line is connected. For further information on this subject, see
ANNEXE B.

TEI MODE: Terminal Equipment Identifier mode, which enables you to select your
working mode, FIXED or DYNAMIC. The “DYNAMIC” option will usually be the right
one, although some specific switchboards may require a FIXED working mode.

RECALL L1: lets you activate/deactivate the recall option for B1 channel (whether it’s
associated to communication channel 1 or 2).

RECALL TIME L1: lets you define the time interval associated with the recall option for
B1 channel.

RECALL L2: lets you activate/deactivate the recall option for B2 channel (whether it’s
associated to communication channel 1 or 2).

B2 channel.
