MDE Link Configuration Menu

The MDE Link Configuration menu (see 

Figure 41

) is used to display the MDE configuration 

status. This is a dynamic menu that displays available options based upon input. Shelf 1 is 
the Primary Shelf and shelves 2 through 6 are Expansion shelves. Only one shelf can be 
added or removed at a time, and only in numerical order. For instance, Shelf 4 must be 
present before Shelf 5 can be added. All six options to add or remove a shelf are not displayed 
at the same time.
