PSM Advanced Provisioning Menu
The PSM Advanced Provisioning menu (see
) is used to provision PSM specific and
subscriber interface options.

PSM Specific Options

Service State
This option is used to provision the service state of the DS3-
PSM. The following service states are available:
• In Service: In this state, the DS3-PSM passes data;
alarms are generated for error conditions.
• Out of Service-Maintenance: In this state, the DS3-PSM
passes data; alarms are suppressed.

OAM Identification
This option is used to set and display the unique OAM
identifier. An OAM identifier is used as a point of origin to
identify OAM cells.
Maximum Network
VC/VPs
This field displays the maximum number of VC/VPs to be
used by the network.

Linked Provisioning
This option is used to enable or disable linked
provisioning. When enabled, the provisioning of the online
DS3-PSM is written to the offline DS3-PSM.
