Note: Options 6 and 13 (AAL Type) are available only if the corresponding endpoint is set to the MGMT port.
Options 7-9 and 14-16 are available only if the AAL Type is set to AAL5.
NOTE
Upon entering the VC/VP Provisioning - Create PVC/PVP menu,
the menu defaults to PVC creation. For PVP creation, press
P
for
Set Path PVC/PVP, then select PVP. This option disables the VCI
options.
NOTE
Once all of the data corresponding to the PVC/PVP being created is
entered into the correct location, the PVC/PVP must actually be
created. This is accomplished by pressing
C
for Create PVC/PVP. If
this task is not completed, the PVC/PVP is not saved. If the PVC/
PVP is successfully created, it will appear in the list of PVC/PVPs
with a Disabled status. Before the PVC/PVP can pass data, it must
be enabled from the preceding PVC Provisioning menu.

VPI
This option sets the VPI for Endpoint 2 and requires a
numeric entry (0 to 255 when operating as a UNI or 0 to
4095 when operating as an NNI).

VCI
This option sets the VCI for Endpoint 2 and requires a
numeric entry (0 to 511 when operating as a UNI or 0 to
65535 when operating as an NNI).

AAL Type
This option is used to set the AAL Type the MGMT Port at
Endpoint 2 accepts (AAL0 or AAL5).

AAL Encap Type
This field is used to select the AAL Encapsulation type that
is implemented for the MGMT Port at Endpoint 2. The
options are as follows:
• llcEncapsulation
• vcMRoutedProt
• encaps_other
• encaps_unknown

Rx SDU Size
This option is used to set the Receive SDU size to a value
from 1 to 65536 for Endpoint 2.

Tx SDU Size
This option is used to set the Transmit SDU size to a value
from 1 to 65536 for Endpoint 2.
