If the display reads anything other than "AUDIO CARD" (or "AUDIO/SSD-66" if the
room is a home theater), the room address is wrong and will need to be changed.
7
Repeatedly press the VOL UP button until the source display reads the correct room
address setting. If you passed the desired address, you can use the VOL DN button to
scroll back to it.
8
Repeatedly press the Delta-88's PRESET button until "MODE 3 PRGRM" appears in the
source LED readout.
9
Press the Delta-88's ALL button. The source display will quickly read
"PROGRAMMING"......"PROGRAMMED".....and then the source selected to that room.
At this point the keypad has been told what system it is and what its source buttons are
controlling (even if the source devices, MT-3000 or PCT-8 are not yet connected to the WH-
3000). If the keypad is controlling a zone on the Delta-88 but it is the wrong zone, continue the
testing of the first zone with "Part 3" in this section. If operation seems sluggish and you are
using an indoor MC-3000 or MC-3800, you may need to turn off the keypads built-in IR receiver
following "Part 2" in this section. If the keypad does not respond at all you may not be using
a keypad with the Software Version of 2.02 or higher. To check a keypads software address,
press and hold the keypad's SHIFT button until the "RELEASE #" appears. If the keypad's
software version is 2.02 or higher, then the keypad or Delta-88's wiring will need re-inspection.
Step P - Testing all Zones from the First MC-3000 or MC-3800
Once you have one room operating, you can actually test most other zones because the MC-
3000 or MC-3800 is capable of scanning other zones and performing basic control of these
zones. Once the first zone, the one the MC-3000 is programmed to default to, is up and
operating, follow these steps. If you are using an MC-3011, this procedure will not be possible.
1
Press the SHIFT button once, bypassing the program mode. The display will read "ALT
FUNCTIONS".
2
Press the Treble Up button once, the display will read NEXT ROOM, followed by the
room name and its status (at this point "ROOM OFF").
3
Press a source button. The keypad's display will now read the source's name. Please
note, the keypad will time-out of the access mode to other rooms automatically. If the
treble up and down buttons are controlling treble levels, you will need to begin with
Step 1.
4
Press the TREBLE UP button again, the keypad will again display "NEXT ROOM"
followed by the room name and its status. Again select a new source in this room and
continue this process, pressing TREBLE UP and then a source. If you passed a room
before selecting a source, press the TREBLE DN button to go back to the previous room.
This procedure will scroll through all rooms on the first two Delta-88s, permitting you
to verify the room functions.
5
Repeat the TREBLE UP button function and source selection until you have scrolled
through all the zones on the first two Delta-88s. This procedure will permit you to test
