Step U - Custom Keypad Source Programming -
Local VS-3 Outputs or Local Only Sources
Once the entire system has been preprogrammed using steps 8 and 9 of the previous page, you
can proceed to locally alter the keypads individually such that a particular source button on
one keypad accesses a specific VS-3 and specific VS-3 output, or perhaps, controls an alternate
PCT-8 port number, or controls an alternate MT-3000's tuner module. Typically, this section
is required for permitting one room to control one VS-3 output while other rooms control their
own specific VS-3 output for independent video switching and video source control. All
programming in this section is done directly on the room's keypad. If the central system is
reprogrammed from the Delta-88 (re-downloading of the Delta-88s programming), the
specific local functions you are about to proceed with will be rewritten with the Delta-88's
programming for that source. Again, before you proceed to programming a keypad locally,
it will be important to clearly know the exact address a source button will need to be set to. For
VS-3 addresses, consult the chart in the previous section.

the keypad's display reads "PROGRAM THIS".
5
Repeatedly press the BASS DN button (VOL PRESET button on home theater keypads)
until the display reads the correct address required. When attempting to lock in a
particular VS-3 address, it may be helpful to note that the VS-3's address does explain
itself. In example: if the VS-3 address on the keypad reads "VS-3 0/02 P3", the
