Home Theater - Option 3
Parameters - The video sources are switched internal to the TV. The surround decoder and
power amplifier are located in proximity to the TV. The central system source AC control is
accomplished using the ACC-48.
Operation - Same as Home Theater Option 1
How - The ACC-48 is connected to the Delta-88's 9 pin "D" connector which is set for zone
tracking. While one the ACC-48's AC outlets is set for the sources, a second outlet is set to track
the home theater zone. A transformer is connected to this outlet and when the home theater
zone is turned on, a low voltage signal is sent to the CCS-4 and it will turn on the theater's
amplifier (plugged into the CCS-4's switched AC outlet). The CCS-4's current sensing circuit
(the TV is plugged into the CS outlet) will also engage the power amplifier and engage the CCS-
4's 24 VDC output when the TV is turned on. This output feeds the LLS-2 Line Level Switcher
and causes the TV's output to override that of the Delta's whenever the TV is turned on. When
the TV is turned off, the SSD-66's input resets to the music system's output. The SSD-66 is
turned on with the amplifier and should be plugged into a power strip on the CCS-4's Switched
AC outlet (not illustrated correctly). Note that the SSD-66 is connected to the ADA Bus™ via
a BI-3000 Bus Isolator.
