Delta-88 Room Acoustical Settings
The Delta-88 allows for each zone/room to have its own acoustical settings including: volume
level, bass level, treble level, balance level, loudness on or off, and stereo enhancement on or
off. From the system keypads and controls, the user can adjust volume, bass, and treble levels.
The volume level, bass level, treble level, balance level, loudness on or off, and stereo
enhancement on or off can be locked into an acoustical preset which can be regained from either
the Delta-88's front panel. This acoustical preset can also be selected to engage every time that
zone is turned on (See Delta-88 Configuration).
To program a zone's acoustical setting follow these steps.
1
Turn on rooms from either their keypad or the system mainframe. In most cases,
volume, bass, and treble should be set at the rooms location.
2
Stereo Enhancement on or off, Loudness on or off, and balance control must be done
from the Delta-88. You may want to set it on the Delta and then go to the room to see
if the sound is to your liking.
3
Once all the parameters of a room's sound levels are correctly set, press and hold the
PRESET button on the Delta-88 until the display reads "STORE". If you press and hold
the PRESET button continuously, the display will scroll between "STORE" and "RE-
CALL".
4
While still holding the PRESET button down, wait for the display to change to "STORE".
Immediately release the PRESET button. The display will read "STORED OK".
5
Press the next room button and proceed to set its acoustical levels following the
previous steps.
If you released the PRESET button before the display reads STORE, the display will read
RECALLED OK and the previous acoustical preset will be recalled. You will need to re-
calibrate the audio for that zone. To recall the acoustical preset, press and release the PRESET
button. The display will read RECALLED OK and the acoustical preset levels will be engaged.
