Text Console

The Text Console (SOL) is a basic function of IPMI and provided by
Server. Click the Text Console tab to open the UI. click Start at the
bottom to initialize the text console connection. The UTF-8 checkbox
allows you to select a different UTF-8 character set to support multiple
languages. Click Stop to stop the text console.

At the top are the Power and KVM control panels for the blade
systems. The power button can perform a power on, reset, graceful
shutdown and power down function on the selected blade system. The
power button icon indicates the current blade system power status:
green for on and amber for off. The KVM icon shows which blade
system has KVM active. Select another blade system KVM button to
connect to its text console.

When a blade system is turned on you can click the power button to
perform a power function on the module: reset, graceful shutdown
