2.3.1 

Adaptation to different applications

REQ650 is an IED with pre-defined configuration to be used as a backup for the main
protection giving redundant protection and simple control functions. It is possible to
use the IED in a wide range of applications. This is done by selecting a functionality
from the comprehensive function library in the IED.
