Trapped key interlock (option)

The drive can be part of a trapped key interlocking system (1 in Fig. 3-11). The interlocking
system ensures that access to drive system equipment is only possible in a predefined and
safe sequence.

The key interlocks are not supplied. If the option is ordered, the drive is prepared for
the installation.

3.4.8

Protection IGCTs

The drive features a fuseless protection design. The IGCTs are placed between the rectifier and
the DC link. If a severe fault occurs, the IGCTs directly isolate the inverter from the main
power supply.
