Grounding the drive is possible after the main power supply has been disconnected, and the
DC link has discharged. When the DC-link voltage is below 50 V (DC), the lamp grounding
switch unlocked (1 in Fig. 3-10) on the door of the control compartment lights up to indicate
that the switch can be turned.

Grounding switch
: the switch can be turned from position not grounded (2 in in Fig. 3-10)
to grounded (3 in Fig. 3-10) and reverse.

Combined input disconnector and grounding switch
: with one switching operation, the
input disconnector first separates the drive from the main power supply and the grounding
switch then connects the DC link of the drive to the PE ground busbar.
