The default values for the configuration items are written in braces. They can be

Configuring the Ethernet interface
This is only required if
•
other nodes are working on the Ethernet together with the AC 800F or Freelance
2000 components (process station, operator station, engineering station) or
•
the Ethernet is not stand-alone and is connected to other networks or
•
more than 14 AC 800F (special case) are used on the same system bus (see
Sections 3.3.5 and 5.3.1).
Adjusting the Internet address
If not more than 14 AC 800F are working on the Ethernet and there is no connection
to other networks, use the standard address:

(only for positions 1 ... E)
If other, non-Freelance 2000 nodes are on the same network or if there is a
connection to other networks, contact your network administrator. He will assign an IP
address to your stations.
The following menu items will only appear (for every Ethernet module) if the coding
switch of the respective Ethernet module is set to 0.
For slot E1
