PECIFICATIONS

Cable Requirements

The DB-9 connector can be used to connect to shielded
twisted-pair (STP) cabling (Type 1 or 6).

The RJ-45 connector can be used to connect to
unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cabling (Category 3, 4, or 5).

Media type selection is made automatically when
you connect cabling to one of the connectors. The
Auto Select Media Type capability enables drivers to
automatically detect the type of media connector.
