About Installing on a NetWare Server
NetWare Loadable Modules (NLMs) permit the
3C3X9.LAN NetWare 4.x server driver to be used with
NetWare versions 3.11, 3.12, or 4.x. The driver and NLM
files are in the following locations on
TokenDisk
diskette #1:
■
NetWare 3.11: \NETWARE\SERVER\3.11
■
NetWare 3.12: \NETWARE\SERVER\3.12
■
NetWare 4.x: \NETWARE\SERVER\4.X
Use the most recent NLMs available. Compare the
versions that accompanied your NetWare software
with the appropriate files on
TokenDisk
diskette #1.
For the latest NLMs, contact Novell.
For more details on the driver and examples
of server installation options, see the
\NETWARE\SERVER\3C3X9SRV.TXT file on
TokenDisk
diskette #1.
One NIC in a Server
This section describes procedures for installing the driver
when you are running NetWare and have installed a
single NIC in a computer that is functioning as a server.
Before installing the driver, see the previous section
“About Installing on a NetWare Server” for important
information about NetWare Loadable Modules.
