NSTALLATION

Powering Up the PC

After completing the installation procedures, power up
the PC.

At power up, the PC system BIOS automatically configures
the NIC’s base I/O address (port address) and interrupt
request line (IRQ). You cannot change these settings, but
you can set other parameters or run diagnostics with the
3TLVDIAG configuration and diagnostic program, located
on

TokenDisk

diskette #1.

Before installing drivers as described in Chapter 3, you
may want to run diagnostics as described in Chapter 4.

Wait until you are satisfied that the NIC hardware and
drivers are installed correctly before replacing the
computer cover.
