NSTALLATION
Installing the Microsoft Windows Driver
This section contains procedures for installing the driver
for the following Microsoft Windows environments:
■
Windows NT 3.51
■
Windows NT 4.0
■
Windows 95
Windows NT 3.51
Follow this procedure to install the driver for
Windows NT 3.51. It is assumed that you are already
running Windows NT.
1 Go to the Add Network Adapter dialog box
as follows:
a From the Main group, double-click the Control
Panel icon.
b From the Control Panel group, double-click the
Network icon.
c From the Network Settings dialog box, click the
Add Adapter button.
2 From the Add Network Adapter dialog box, scroll
to the bottom of the Network Adapter Card
selection list. Click
<Other> Requires disk from
manufacturer and click Continue .
The Insert Disk dialog box appears.
3 Insert TokenDisk diskette #2 in the floppy drive.
4 Type the following path and click OK :
a:\winnt
There is a short delay while Windows NT reads the
diskette. The Select OEM Option dialog box appears.
5 Select 3Com TokenLink Velocity PCI Adapter and
click OK .
Messages appear while files are being copied. The
Bus Location dialog box appears.
