Current consumption of the ZAdyn4B in acceleration

When selecting the ZAdyn4B, it is assumed that the motor to be controlled is loaded with the rated
torque at the rated speed. Accelerating the motor requires additional torque. Generating this torque
requires additional current of approx. 60

–

80% of the rated current. During acceleration, this results in

a motor current consumption of approx. 160

–

180% of the rated current.

The ZAdyn4B can be loaded for up to 10 s with max. 180% of the rated current. For this reason, the
current which is set when the motor accelerates may not be greater than 180% of the rated current.
