9 HANDING THE UNIT OVER TO THE USERS
9.1 Administration app
Tap the administration app to set up the unit in collaboration with the users.
Note that access to the administration app is protected by a pin code.
The pin code is the last four digits of the unit’s serial number.
Show the function of the administration app:
1. Tap “Unit/treatment room name” and enter a name.

2. Tap “Language” and select a language. Note: If the language is changed the unit must be
restarted to activate the new language.

3. Tap “Users” and add users. Note: If the option “Create with classic XO settings is selected,
the foot control will be configured to resemble the function of classic XO units.

4. Configure Dashboard side menus in collaboration with the users.

5. Tap “Apps” and select the apps shown on the Navigator home screen

6. Explain the possibility of working with instrument workflows and how the practice can
configure their own workflows

7. Explain the other possibilities using the administration app

9.2 Pretreatment checklist app
Go through the pretreatment checklist app on the Navigator and explain how to:
1. Sit well

2. Position the patient (patient chair with horizontal backrest)

3. Adjust the neck rest (upper and lower jaw positions)

4. Sit and see well at the same time (combine four working positions with six patient positions)

5. Park the instrument bridge

6. Position the instrument bridge (working position)

7. Use one-motion-control (grab the instruments from below and use the little finger to activate
sliders and buttons on the Dashboard)

8. Position the light correctly

9. Handle the suction right

9.3 Ergonomics app
Show the function of the ergonomics app:
1. Choose solo (4-handed) or 2-solo (handed) working

2. Choose a tooth and a tooth surface

3. And see optimal positions of patient, operators and optimal hand support.

