60 W Stereo Power Amplifier

5.4.9.3 Choke Leads

In the following steps, trim the lead lengths so the wires will comfortably reach their respective

terminals. Use the red terminal connectors. After each terminal is attached to a lead, gently pull on

the wire and terminal to make sure a good crimp has been made.

– Connect L51in – choke in. Find one of the

black

wires from the power supply choke

(L51). Install a connector to the wire. Attach to the

L51in

post on the power supply PWB.

– Connect L51out – choke out. Find the other

black

wire from the power supply choke.

Install a connector to the wire. Attach to the

L51out

post on the power supply PWB.

– Connect L51 case ground. Find the #22 black ground wire from the choke case. Attach a

connector to the wire. Attach to the

GND

post on the power supply PWB. Use the GND

post adjacent to fuse F52.

5.4.9.4 Power Transformer Primary Winding Leads

The following steps assume a line input voltage of 120 V ac. Trim the lead lengths so the wires

will comfortably reach their respective terminals. Use the red terminal connectors. After each

terminal is attached to a lead, gently pull on the wire and terminal to make sure a good crimp has

been made.

– Connect ACN-2 – AC neutral. Find the

white

lead from the power transformer. Install a

connector to the wire. Attach to the

ACN-2

post on the power supply PWB.

– Connect ACN-3 – AC neutral. Find the

brown

lead from the power transformer. Install a

connector to the wire. Attach to the

ACN-3

post on the power supply PWB.

– Connect ACH-4 – AC hot conductor. Find the

black

lead from the power transformer.

Install a connector to the wire. Attach to the

ACH-4

post on the power supply PWB.

– Connect ACH-5 – AC hot conductor, Find the

blue

lead from the power transformer.

Install a connector to the wire. Attach to the

ACH-5

post on the power supply PWB,

– Find the

black/red

lead from the power transformer. Install a connector to the wire.

Attach to one of the

(not connected) posts on the power supply PWB.
